Owner, Stephen Mercer, has an extensive design and development background, he started Mercer Woodworks, Inc. in 1989.
An endless obsession for design and the creation of unique interiors has driven Steve to lead the field of luxury cabinet and furniture making. Emerging ideas become ignited with Steve’s long time passion for woodworking, music and art, promising a sense of uniqueness and flair to each completed project.
With an instinctive skill for interpreting client wishes, Steve consistently transcends the functional requirements to create stylish, beautiful and luxurious settings for relaxing and entertaining. Hallmarks of every project are.... collaborative well documented designs, eco-friendly material choices and production processes, with the assurance of absolute quality throughout.
Steve was born in the North of England and immigrated to California with his family in 1967. Educated in Los Angeles, his talent and skills for music and the arts flourished. By the age of 23, he had started his own cabinet and furniture business which continues to grow.
David Mercer is the company's in-house draftsman, creating plans and renderings for our clients and vendors. David is an expert in CAD, SketchUp, Photoshop & Lumion. Dave also helps out with assembling cabinetry and ordering materials for the shop
